When I started my Miracle Morning challenge, I thought the hardest part would be waking up. Turns out, it was fuelling my body in a way that matched my mindset shift. As a mum, VA, and digital creator, my mornings need to be sacred, simple, and energising.
I’ve come to love a small set of go-to meals that help me stay aligned and not crash by 11am. Here’s what’s been working:
1. The Grounding Smoothie (5 mins)
Frozen banana, almond milk, a spoonful of nut butter, chia seeds, and a scoop of protein powder. This is my “drinkable discipline”, easy to prep and sip during journaling or affirmations.

2. Warm Oats with Intention (10 mins)
Oats, cinnamon, chia, and honey, sometimes with stewed apple or berries. I eat this while reviewing my top 3 goals for the day. It’s soothing, grounding, and helps me centre my thoughts.

3. Egg Muffins (Batch Cook Sunday)
Mini egg muffins with spinach, peppers, or whatever’s in the fridge. I batch these so I can heat and go. Perfect when toddler chaos kicks in before 7am.

4. Hydration First
Before anything else, water with lime. It’s simple, but it’s a ritual that makes me feel like I’m choosing myself before the day starts choosing me. I like to brew this overnight and have it first thing in the morning. I don’t mind it hot or cold.

Food doesn’t just nourish the body—it supports mindset. These little meals have helped me keep up with the challenge, show up for my clients, and stay emotionally steady.
It’s not about being perfect; it’s about creating rhythms that respect your season. And this one? It’s about showing up well-fed, heart-first, and ready.
Let me know if you’ve tried any of these—and if you prefer lime water to lemon water 😉
